Carl J. Tippit, President. Mr. Tippit has been involved with Investment Management since 1984. Currently he is a Partner and Director of High Net Worth for Hartland & Co, A Cleveland based Instituional and Individual Wealth Counsel. Prior to that, he was a Senioor Portfolio Maanger for Sterling, a part of national City Bank. From 2000 to 2008 he was a Managing Director of Peppertree Partners, a private equity fund of funds based in Cleveland, Ohio.  Prior to Peppertree Mr. Tippit  was the chief financial officer of VectorVest, Inc., a privately held investment software company.   Prior to VectorVest, Mr. Tippit was President and chief executive officer of Business Sound, Inc., a company he founded in 1990. Prior to Business Sound, Mr. Tippit spent three years as chief financial officer of a privately held biotech company and two years as a private equity investment officer for International Management Group (IMG) in Cleveland. 

Mr. Tippit was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1989.  He holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
